Three Yakuza games are leaving PS Plus in August 2023
Ten games will be leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium's catalogue next month, including three Yakuza games.
The first three Yakuza games in chronological order, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2, will be gone very soon, so players should hurry up if they want to get started with the franchise and then move to the other Yakuza titles.
The other mainline games in the franchise, Yakuza 3, 4, 5, 6: Song of Life, and the latest Yakuza: Like a Dragon will remain available on PS Plus, at least for now.
Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the original game, released in 2015, and a great entry point for newcomers to the series. The game is also considered one of the best in the franchise.
Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are recent remakes of the series' first two entries, which originally came out during the PS2 era.
Other notable games that are leaving include RPG first-person shooter Borderlands 3 and Ubisoft's open-world racer The Crew 2.
